Dreams....

Image
Dreams.... tangibles, non tangibles, real, allusive, distant, near.... We keep running after the dreams without even realizing how much it will take out of us to make our dreams come true. To dream is quite an easy task, to materialize your dreams is a tough one, an extremely tough one. Wohh I have been dreaming about marrying Katrina for long... illusive. I have been thinking about getting a physique like Hrithik... tangible. How about being the Mr. Prime Minister... distant. Dreams dreams and just dreams. Time is running away, hey wait ... I need to ponder upon a certain things, I need to decide how to work out certain things.. time time don't run away wait. No it won't. So will I keep chasing the time or wil I run ahead of the time. How about being with the time... Wooo another set of questions, I will need some time to answer them:) Time is running out need to conclude.. The question is whether you can emerge victorious at the end of the dawn. Every morning you wake up with...

Maya-Mega-Watt-i Shock

Kudos to Ms Mayawati for spending Rs 2000cr on erecting grandiose statues of herself in a state having the lowest literacy rate, the highest maternal mortality rate, largest child labour force and where more than 59 million people are below the poverty line . The whopping Rs 2000 cr, if it would have been used for the upliftment of the poor, building schools and hospitals besides social upliftment schemes for oppressed class would have earned you a million praise but pity Ms Mayawati believes so much in vanity. This probably was not the only case of Ms Mayawati's wealth show. How could one forget that on her 52nd birthday last year, Mayawati's party workers decked out Lucknow, with hundreds of thousands of lights, while Mayawati greeted supporters with an expensive diamond necklace and matching earrings. The irony is that in a country where 60% of the population is below the poverty line and live in squalid conditions, Ms Mayawati didn't even flinched an eye befor...

Jaago re

Kab jaagega ae tu insaan , jab tut raha hoga aasman .. Jab yeh dharti phat jayegi , ya jab kayamat aa jayegi .. Tab jaag ke tu kya kar lega , kya tu maut se lad lega .. Jab aaj nahi tu jaag saka tab jaag ke tu kya karlega , tab jaag ke tu kya karlega ?? The elections of the worlds biggest democracy, India, will be starting from April 16. This time I am highly concerned of the results of the elections. Will we be ruled by regional chauvinists or will there be a national party Congress or BJP who will be serving its term at the Parliament. I want it to be anyone of the two national parties and no Fronts to rule the nation, for that would be the biggest damage to India, The Nation. I imagine the situation to be like a family of 10 brothers, each fighting for his share in the home, what will happen in such a family, feuds over little issues, clashes within the house for every penny, each brother would be trying to capitalize his position in the house and fi...

The Software Engineer who lost his Ferrari

A year ago software industry was the most sought after, the people in the industry were raking in moolahs. There were many new money makers in town, they called themselves Techie. They were young and talented and with just a few frog leaps they could easily grab millions. Onsites, bonuses, allowances added a pretty fair amount to there pocket. They also found their dream gals in this industry. The industry now not only offered him roti(food), kapda(shelter) aur makaan(home) but also pyaar(love). They had there weekend whiskies and movies, as the most exciting part the job allowed them to have. They could now afford the gizmos and gadgets and clothes that they always wanted to. All was good and well in there life till the day America hit with the recession meteor, and all of the sudden they started losing their jobs, and with their jobs went their aspirations, their dreams; not only did they lost their bread and shelter but soon they lost their love too. They tried hard to find a new jo...

Khoon chala Aur Chal ke Ruk Gaya

Now I think that what happened on 26 Nov 08 had a little impact on me and most of them like me... soon after we had cans in our hands to shrugg off of our incapicity.... I have mustered courage to drain off the can... These words of mine are just to keep reminding the soul I possess : "Jo khoon aaj ruka hain usse phir chalna hoga, nahi to ek din mujhe bhi mere desh ke neta ya kisi aatanki ke haath marna hoga" Kuch din ka woh rosh tha, Kuch din ka woh josh tha, Kuch din ke liye Khoon chala aur Khoon chal ke ruk gaya…. Kuch pal ke woh jazbaat the, Kuch pal ko aankhen nam thi, Kuch pal ke liye Khoon chala aur Khoon chal ke ruk gaya…. Kuch Aag lagi thi dil me aur Aag lag ke bhuj gayi ... Kuch awaaz uthi thi man me aur Awaaz uth kar dab gayi…. Kuch shabd dil ko chubh gaye aur kuch dil cheer ke nikal gaye... Kuch kar gujarne ko Khoon chala aur Khoon chal ke ruk gaya…. Kuch karna dil ne chaha tha, kuch karte karte ruk gaya...

A Salute to Maj Sandeep Unnikrishnan

There are few who get to live a life of honour and very few who get an Honoured departure. Born on March 15, 1977, Maj Sandeep was felled by a terrorist's bullet during a flushing-out operation at the Hotel Taj. Entrusted with the task of evacuating hostages, Major Sandeep sacrificed his life while trying to shield one of the injured soldiers from terrorists attack. He is a true patriot and and a brave hero and proved that he is the son of soil, one who fought for his motherland and saved her grace at the cost of his life. I salute the brave officers and men who fought terror in Mumbai. Thanks to them, the country was safe during the hour of crisis. More than our politicians who fight terror by issuing statements, we need men like them who saved Mumbai. After all "Action speaks louder than words."

Encroached Enraged India

On this day 27th Nov 2008 when I am jotting these words I am enraged and at the same time incapable to do anything but moan on the incapicity of ours to fight the terrorism. I, an ardent admirer of Gandhi, am now following his three quotes "Bura mat dekho, Bura mat suno, Bura mat bolo"(See,Hear,Speak, no evil) and I have even stopped thinking about anything, because this taxs me a lot. The seething anger and unchecked tears of mine are finding no vent. There is a strong fire that is ignited in my mind. What were we waiting for when we have continually been under attack from past one year, even the terrorists got bored cause they never got any attention from our "DEAF AND BLIND" democratic government; they were so desparate to be heard, to gain more than the just the front-page news or a day long TV coverage, so this time they striked so hard that the water came down not down eyes but pants, yes it made our political system pee in their pants. I think our politicians...
